Shopify Store Development
Natalie Gerber is a contemporary textile designer whose work blends sustainability, artistry, and functionality. Her studio practice emphasizes handcrafted, small-batch production with a focus on eco-conscious materials and processes. Drawing inspiration from her South African roots, Natalie explores pattern, line, and color through silkscreen printing, creating textiles that are both functional and artful. From her Calgary studio at cSpace King Edward, she also shares her craft by offering workshops in fibre arts, engaging the community in sustainable design practices.
Working with This is Monitor, who provided the Adobe XD prototype and design direction, I developed a custom Shopify store to support Natalie’s expanding online presence. By customizing templates with Liquid, HTML, and CSS, I created a responsive platform that showcases her textile collections, workshops, and collaborations. The result is a clean, scalable site that reflects Natalie’s brand ethos—environmentally responsible, creative, and accessible—while giving her full control over managing products and content.
